Thomas Taylor married Elizabeth Taylor, daughter of General Nathaniel
Taylor of Carter Co. Tenn. Thomas was first elected Register for Shelby
Co. but lost the position because he was, at the same time sheriff of
White Co. born 1776. I would appreciate any information about this man
and woman.

Looking for the civil war discharge papers or records for Stephan W.
Steuart, Brevet 2nd Lieutenant, 17th Tn Infantry. Born May 28, 1827 died
December 18, 1905.
Need the discharge papers to replace deteriorating headstone with new VA
headstone.

Samuel H MARTIN b. 1812-1820 TN marr. Rebecca BRYANT on 2 Nov 1839 in
White CO TN. Job MARTIN was a witness to a Deed to Samuel H MARTIN in White CO TN in
1841. I think the Job MARTIN in 1850 Jackson Co TN and the Job MARTIN in 1860
District 9 Putnam Co TN is the Job MARTIN that witnessed the deed. Job's
wife was named Mary and from the census it looks like Job was born 1807 in
NC.
The census for Samuel MARTIN says his father was born in NC.
Legal papers were usually witnessed by neighbors or relatives. I believe
that Job is related to my Samuel. I tend to think maybe an older brother.
Samuel is my gg-grandfather. Samuel and Rebecca were in White Co TN in
1840, Jackson Co TN in 1850 and 1860 til their deaths in Putnam Co TN.
Name of Samuel and Rebecca's children is James Washington, John Vance,
Martha Ann , Amanda, Mary Saphronia, Rebecca, Manerva Jane, Jesse
Lafayette, Johial (b. 1854 AR)and Millie Frances. All children except
Johial born in TN
Childen listed for Job and Mary in 1850 are Caroline, Joseph,Sallie,
Eliza, Nancy, Frances, Jesse, Rebecca and David,. Children listed for Job
and Mary in 1860 are Caroline, Sallie, Eliza, Nancy, Jesse, Rebecca.
Job is living next door to R L GENTRY in 1860.
The parents of Rebecca BRYANT who marr. Samuel H MARTIN is James and Jane
GENTRY BRYANT.
If you have any info on Samuel and Rebecca MARTIN or Job and Mary MARTIN
or any of their children or on James and Jane Gentry BRYANT I would be
eternally grateful for your help.

1980, had an affair with a certain David Whit from Tennessee, USA.
They've met in Hong Kong. I've never met this man, my biological
