Descendants Of Veterans Of Early American Wars

This new program is sponsored by the Williamson County Archives for anyone who is a descendant of a veteran of an Early American War. The veteran must have been a resident of Williamson County at some time during his or her lifetime, but it is not necessary that the veteran be a Williamson County resident at the time of his or her service. Early American Wars are defined the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Indian Wars, the Mexican War, and the Civil War. The purpose of this program is to recognize Williamson County Veterans of Early American Wars and to accumulate genealogical information for the Williamson County Archives.

Certificates of membership will be awarded and a book containing completed membership applications is planned. Contact the Williamson County Archives by phone or mail for application or more information.
