Cyrus Miller Hunter, 47, Died in Detroit Wednesday

Cyrus Miller Hunter, 47, brother of Jim and Tom Hunter of McMinnville, died

Wednesday morning in a Detroit, Mich., hospital after ten days' of illness

following a major operation.  A son of Polk and Elvira Pettit Hunter, he was

born and reared in Warren county, having resided in Detroit for the past

five years.  He was a World War veteran and was married in 1918 to Miss Mary

Ella Martin, who with their children, Mattie Darr, Mable Lois Hatton and

Thomas Martin Hunter, survives.  In addition to his brothers here, he is

also survived by his mother and one sister, Mrs. Lou Sherrell of Louisville,

Ky.  Funeral and burial were held in Detroit yesterday afternoon.
